Comfortable room, excellent breakfast and our hostess could not have been more willing to help. The warmth of the Irish welcome made up for any shortcomings of the local weather.Such a change from the impersonal chain hotels you so often meet. The location is utterly peaceful and the views stunning especially when the sun came out. The view from the dining... More

Excellent location for discovering the mourne mountains and nearby Carlingford. The seafood in the area was fantastic but paled next to the Irish breakfast in the morning. Majella, the proprietor, produced everything you could ever want to eat for breakfast and did so with a warm smile. Definitely would stay again and recommend it highly. More

If you want good service with a smile, then this is your place. Beautiful location, friendly locals. Rooms are good size and most have en-suite. Staff always willing to sort your problems. I would use again if staying in this area. Five stars. More

We stayed for one night in the Glenbeigh B&B, we chose it due to its location; right beside Carlingford Lough, and just a short drive to the Mourne Mountains. There are beautiful views of the lake from the breakfast room. Our room was lovely, it had everything we needed for our stay. Full Irish breakfast was delicious, one of the... More

My children and I stayed only one night in this lovely place. I wouldn’t call it an establishment as it was very homely and the young lady, Majella, was very nice and friendly when she greeted us. She remained nice and friendly during our stay and my boys really warmed up to her. And so did I!! We had a... More

We attended a wedding in Rostrevor and stayed two nights at Glenbeigh B&B. We had a great time and were looked after brilliantly by Majella the landlady, We had a double room on the ground floor which was perfect for us. The breakfast was 1st class and the views over carlingford were excellant. All in all a fabulous weekend and... More

Glenbeigh is a beautiful Victorian house in a quiet square with fantastic views of the Lough and surrounding hills. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated, the beds are comfortable, the showers really work. The owner gives you a... More

Just returning from a 'cool weekend' up north. Staying at the delightful Glenbeigh ...I found it to be full of charm with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Was made to feel very much at home by Magella, who was genuinely very friendly, finding the time to chat and put one at ease. ...the perfect host. Yes that breakfast, for those... More

This B&B in the quiet Victoria Square was really nice, full of character and tastefully furnished, and clean. with lovely views over the lough and mmountains. We stayed here to be close to the Fiddlers Green festival. We were a bit apprehensive when we realised our particular room wasn't ensuite, but it wasn't a problem at all -there were plenty... More
