Good, efficient and friendly check in service. Lovely looking golf course, clean room and even peacocks outside but building generally a bit tired with outrageously squeaky, clunky floors on the corridor I stayed on ( first floor) you could hear people banging from one end of the corridor to the the other like elephants! ( even small, light, considerate people... More

We stayed with friends in this hotel on a Friday night and were treated to some live swinging entertainment which made for a good atmosphere. The bar staff were friendly, we had snacks served at a table in the lounge - which were really tasty. The family room we had booked was huge with a large double bed and 2... More

We enjoyed our stay here. We got excellent service and the food was fresh and of good quality. The room was of a good size and clean. The shower bathroom was super as well. During my review for Mercure - Maidstone I raised a problem and very soon after I received a response which indicated that they had taken my... More

While the location is perfect for a visit to Leeds Castle and the refurbished Spa & Leisure centre are well equipped, the hotel and dining facilities are poor : - The front desk staff on check-in proposed several "complimentary" services, which were subsequently invoiced and visa-versa (and on check-out they refused to take them of the invoice) - Trainees were... Dear Guest Thank you for your review. I am pleased you were happy with the leisure facilities and the location and very sorry that we failed to meet your expectations elsewhere on this occasion. Have just returned from one night at The Mercure Maidstone Hotel. It seemed quite busy when we arrived, but the front desk staff were very well presented and polite and made the check-in very smooth. We were given a room on the 3rd Floor which was quite a hike and quite small, but the cleanliness was second to none and... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in April 2012. The hotel is set in lovely griounds overlooking a lake. There is also pitch & putt available to guests. We visited the hotel specifically for a leisure break weekend, to use the spa facilities. Unfortunately when we arrived, the jacuzzi was not working. The staff were very polite and... More

Myself and my partner stayed here for two nights recently as part of an offer from Wahanda whereby bed, breakfast and dinner was included. The food was lovely and it was very efficently served with only a little bit of queuing on the Sunday morning due to a wedding the night before and a large number of guests. We used... More
