The pousada de Geres is a "Naturalistic" pausada as opposed to the "Historical" pausadas. The hotel structure in itself is nothing particular (don't get me wrong it is well above standard) but the location and the view are simply breathtaking. This Pousada has a beautiful setting and with a good restaurant and a swimmingpool and a good room what more could you ask for. The service and food have definately improved. We have been there each year for at least 12 year. More

A lovely hotel set upon a hillside overlooking the nearby dam. Well placed for visiting the Parque Nacional da Penede-Geres. An expensive Restaurant, but try the "Bull Tenderloin" - delicious. More
