We stayed here for 3 days whilst visiting Aveira - ( Venice of Portugal ). We had a very pleasant stay here. It's a little out of the way, but just a short walk into the town. The gardens across the road are unfortunately opened just once per year. Breakfast food, but not up to the standard of the pousada in Guimares, though we did have delicious mango one day.

This is a very good hotel and we enjoyed our stay. We had a room overlooking the garden with a terrrace. The room had everything we needed. As some people have mentioned, there are some overdue maintenance issues. We noticed some chipped paint on the wordrobe doors and a broken tile in the bathroom but nothing major. Good breakfast.
