We do not recommend this hotel for more then 1 night. It is loud, the quite pool was under refurbishment, the tradional restaurant was under refurbishment - the rest is like Disneyland (not like French Polynesia). We really enjoyed the Intercontinental. We used the Ambassador program to get an upgrade and they let us check in early from our flight that arrived at 5:30 am. The pool here was the best we saw in French Polynesia. Actually two very nice pools - one with a sandy bottom. The views overlooking Moorea from the hotel were tremendous.... more

We stayed at the I.C. Tahiti before and after our cruise on the Star Flyer. We found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to an ocean view room for our one-night stay prior to our cruise. It was very lovely and comfortable.
