We stayed at the intercontinental for a week in February. When we first arrived at the resort we were blown away by its beauty. We stayed in a standard room which was nice and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendy and helpful. Food at the resort was good, but incredibly pricey. We usually went into town and ate at the... More

Our flight home to LA was delayed, so Air Tahit Nui graciously put us up in the Intercontinental for one night with 3 meals included. We had been staying at a not so nice pension so this was a real treat. The room was great and the beds were comfortable. There is a pool that is large enough to do... More

The Lotus (their own rest.) was being remodeled in Jan. and beginning of Feb. so no chance for great food. The other rest. Le Tiare has a good buffet but not run by the hotel so room service was better when using them. Since no a/c at rest. with a lot of humidity the room service is a great way... More

We had a quick overnight stop in Tahiti on our way to Mo'orea. Our plane landed at 11 PM (middle of the night coming from Utah). The check-in of 4 or 5 different couples that came with our transfer from the airport took about 20 minutes for all of us. We were greeted with a refreshing tropical drink and our... More

Stayed here for 1 night as many people do as a stopover to Bora Bora. We arrived basically in the middle of the night after flying from Sydney to Auckland. We were pretty tired by then, so we were looking forward to a half decent nights sleep. Luckily the resort is very close to the airport (you can't hear the... More

Luckily we only stayed here 6 hours as a layover from Honolulu to Bora Bora. We arrived around 11:30pm and departed at 5:30am. We paid $250 for a basic room (housed in the main building) with a balcony and view of the lagoon. I don't think it's fair to post a review for a five hour stay but I know... More

We spent one night after a cruise before flying out the next morning. We had prepaid the Garden room but were told when we checked in that we had received a double upgrade to a Paradise lagoon room. The room was outstanding and located in the newer building. Beautiful large room with large balcony overlooking the ocean and lagoon. Separate... More

Everything is generally quite expensive in Tahiti so one has to keep that in mind when traveling here. The Intercontinental was close to the airport and the Panorama rooms are newer and have a lovely view out over the lotus pool which looks like it is flowing right into the sea. This quiet, sandy bottom pool with a swim up... More

The setting was idyllic and unbelievably picturesque. The stuff of dreams. We had an over water bungalow and I loved watching the sunsets from the balcony. The room was comfortable and in good order. The highlight for me was the the internal lagoon pool with all the tropical fish (including Nemo!). Swimming around in the lagoon pool with the fish was the... More

Fantastic setting and fine for an overnight. We stayed here after a cruise and everyone in our group agreed that the place seemed a bit dirty and worn. The most outstanding part was the swarms of cockroaches in the outside restaurants. There were staff members just walking around with brooms - stepping on roaches and then sweeping them up. We... Dear Guest: Thank you for your comments posted on Trip Advisor; Every feedback is very valuable to us and is taken into consideration in order to improve our service to you. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our resort setting but regret your unpleasant experience patronising the open air Tiki bar. On that particular day, we were indeed... More
