Unless you like rude and unfriendly staff, pass on this one. We found it to be extremely expensive also. We had one mixed drink and a bottle of water and were charged 16 us dollars! When we asked to see the manager about this, we were informed that there was no manager to speak to, unless we came back on... More

We did not stay at Baldi but spend several hours there as part of a day long tour to Arenal. It was a 6 hour trip from Jaco with many stops to see different attractions so we were beat up when we arrived. We were seated for a very late lunch and we chose sea bass; it was incredibly delicious... More

Baldi Springs was the biggest disappointment! It may have natural spring water but it is more like a water park. Greeted at the front desk by unfriendly staff and given a wrist band. Then charged 6 dollars for a locker. Then the rip off. $10 each to rent a towel that would be refunded when we returned the towels. When... More

The Hotel grounds are beautiful. There are so many wonderful hot springs on the property. The stone/tiles on the pool bottoms can be rough on the feet and some of the hot springs are well super HOT. But the hot spring designs are breathtaking and so relaxing. The restaurant and bars are very expensive ($10 well drinks/beer). The hotel rooms... More

Where should I begin? Took us 5 hours to get there from Jaco. Drove up to about 5 tour buses in front of hotel. Dealt with unfriendly front desk. No smiles, poor customer service, paper thin walls in rooms, wristbands, bad lighting, loud music until 9pm, a/c broken, room key didn't work 3x, spa employees made us wait 45 min... More

The Baldi is a great hotel and resort. It is close to the Arenal Volcano. They have 25 natural mineral pure water, with differente temperatures. You can swim at night! In the spa you can find many kinds of treatments and massages. The Virgita Restaurant is very nice and delicious. The room was clean and nice. You can see the... More

This was our last hotel for the trip around Costa Rica. From the time we got here the service was not qualified to be at a hotel charging $200+ a night. We saw the maids finish cleaning our room but they refused to let us put all of our bags in it until the 3pm check in time. When we... More

nice room with a good a/c and television for the kids. The kids enjoyed the water slides and all the hot springs. The food at the restaurants in the hotel were very pricey for the quality. you would do well to go 4km to la fortuna and eat with the locals. More

We just returned from Costa Rica and spent 4 nights at Baldi Hot Springs Hotel. The room was average, but we had a great view of Arenal from our balcony (when it wasn't clouded over). The grounds were beautiful. I felt like I was in Hawaii - bird of pardise flowers and other types of flowers you see in Hawaii.... More

We spent a night in this stunning spa/ hotel while visiting the Arenal Volcanoe and tram/zip line. This place has incredible hot pools, 25 in total, all different temperatures, including swim up bars, waterfalls, water slides. The restaurant has alacarte and breakfast buffet, both were good. The hotel rooms are spacious, with with sit out patios or balcony. The food... More
