We spent on night at Butt House whilst doing the C2C, Linda (who is a chef) and Tony are welcoming and jovial hosts. They have a drying area which is a must after the weather we had!! Dinner is served in-house and was quite good. The breakfast was just as ordered.

Very comfortable stay at Butt house, while doing the Herriott Way very friendly welcome, good drying room fro our wet clothes. Lovely welcoming bath.Bedrooms were comfortable, Very good food,excellent evening meal,very nice breakfast. The packed lunch was good too.

Stayed here whilst on walk and most of our group were in Keld Lodge. Ate in Keld Lodge but food at Butt house seemed to be better and would recommend eating here if possible.
