I can recommend this resort. It is the best accommodation on the whole island. I liked very much dinners at the restaurant Le Belem with professional service. On the other hand I recommend the book 15 minute French. To understand something is very helpful (e.g. at breakfast: Do you have a pancake? No. Hmm… Do you have a crêpe. Yes.).... More

Upon arrival we had to take our luggage to the reception area as there was no one around to take care of it! Finding someone who can speak English is like winning the lottery! When I mentioned this to the GM his reply was that his clients are usually French (speaks for itself)! When I asked the reception about site... More

Our experience at the Cap Est was a very positive one - the setting is beautiful as the resort lies within a charming laguna, with crystal clear waters and immersed in vegetation. The main area of the resort is simple, with basic tropical style furnishings (lots of wood, flowers, bamboo etc with an oriental touch such as incense burning). The... More

Despite not everything is great about this place, I love it, because it is so beautiful! We spent a week in this resort in the beginning of February with our little twin boys. We were welcomed very warmly and were explained everything. We booked a deluxe suite which was simply great. We liked it very much. It was so comfortable... More

Cap Est We stayed for seven nights in April 2011 in a deluxe lagoon room with private pool.  Summary: Overall, Cap Est is a lovely location, and our room (deluxe lagoon view with plunge pool) was very nice.  Unfortunately, at times, this felt less of a holiday in paradise and more of a trip to Fawlty Towers!  The hotel -... This is not a "Resort" - its facilities are far too limited. It is in the wrong place: you need a car or a taxi to go out anywhere, since you can't walk along the sea in either direction (because of private land), and the roads outside the gate pass through housing estates. Also the Atlantic side of Martinique is... More

We stayed for 8 nights at the end of March in a deluxe suite with plunge pool. The resort is all-suite (50 rooms) and has three basic grades of room, all of which have a sea-view, many actually edge onto the beach. The room we had was amazingly private and yet had an un-interuppted view of the lagoon and private... More

We spent 5 nights at this lovely resort on the Atlantic coast side of the island. We were celebrating a special occasion, so this was a splurge, and well worth it. Exquisitely maintained, and very quiet and private, this was a real respite. The pool is lovely; the beach is rather small but nice & well protected by the offshore... More

Spent 18 days there and never wanted to leave. Beautiful setting. Great food in two restaurants. Great service. Expensive for sure but my feeling is that in this case, we got what we paid for. Here's an example of great service: We left very early on Christmas morning, having arranged a taxi the day before. The taxi didn't show (there... More

My wife and I just returned from Le Cap Est Lagoon and Spa. It was our 20th Anniversary and we were looking for something small and quiet. For us this was a wonderful resort. Our trip was enhanced by the special attention that Wosie at breakfast provided. You could simply tell that she was happy to make you happy, even... More
