Wonderful location on the Hardanger fjord. Large, vintage resort-type hotel. Wonderful grounds, indoor pool, small beach. Row boats and paddle boats. Our room (#329) faced the fjord and had a nice balcony. Ventilation was a problem in the very hot weather. No air conditioning but there is an air blower in the room. Decent room, nothing fancy. We were given a room in the old section of the hotel. The room was unbearably smelly and musty and the carpet was dirty. I couldn't stand it. I went to the desk to request another room.
