My daughters and I arrived at the hotel Gautefall on Xmas day 2011 and booked to stay for a week - which we did as the skiing was good. However, I have not stayed in such a horrible hotel before. The rooms are old and smelly. The bathroom absolutely sub-standard! The hotel had no recreational facilities that did not cost... More

Very enthusiastic owner, helpful and friendly staff. Nice reception area as portrayed in their video, but the rest of their video is very misleading as they show their renovation plans. The rooms are basic, and our shower room had old and worn fittings. Cleanliness was acceptable, but the towels were thin and worn and you could only get more by... More

Gautefall Hotell is mostly a holiday resort, summer and winter. The people working there are friendly and do their best. It is overall an ok place to stay except: Hot water: In winter they simply run out of hot water from 17:00 to about 19:00.
