nice location for this hotel in the fjord. the style is typically norwegian and the scenery around can be breathtaking. The free Spa area is amazing with the outside swimming warmed pool in which I enjoyed myself, surrounded by snow in January. I hopeto go again in the same winter season just to enjoy this moment again. Top class!

Solstrand hotel & bad is a good choice though pricey with an excellent spa and breath taking views of fjord and gardens. Cleanliness is top notch, staff is very helpful. The only improvement needed is the breakfast which is typical of Norvegian hotels slightly lacking.

If you're reserving a family room, ask for room#513/514 (if i remember correctly).
