we had a lovely holiday here in december, the staff work very hard and most were really friendly and helpful except for some of the lazy watersports staff, the food was good, if you don't want the same thing the following week choose something different, its not hard, there was plenty of choice if you didn't want to stay in... I DO NOT HAVE A LOW STANDARD OF LIVING and I LOVED this resort. We did not get a deal either, as we booked very late and this resort and business class flight were our only options. “Don't want to spend money - then stop complaining!”

If people want 5 star accomodations, then go pay for it! There are beautiful perfect hotels in Antigua, but you have to pay for them. Pineapple beach is exactly what you will get if your budget is low durng high season of travel. More

I don't know what other people are talking about (especially the ones that gave this property four or five stars, but this place was horrible. DO NOT GO HERE. I'm still at Grand Pineapple, and am leaving tomorrow. We've stayed from Christmas eve until New Years' eve and had a brilliant time - the beach is stunning, sea looks every bit as blue as the photos and is as warm as a bath, the weather has been hot and sunny every day, excellent for a tan! Do not listen to any neagtive reviews, this hotel is amazing! All the staff are lovely, amazing beech, food nice just abit repetitive in second week. I am scared of birds but they did not bother me here, you are in the caribbean in an open air resturante...what do you expect! The cats are not a problem, dont feed them... More
