We were a party of around 50 on a 4-day Travelsphere "New Year" coach tour and spent a very pleasant and sometimes hilarious 3 nights at Hotel Traube. Really friendly reception, good food, and very clean everywhere - especially appreciated as we were the last guests before the family owners and brilliant staff took a couple of months off after... We spent two nights at this lovely hotel. Our room 313 with private bath was super clean; service was friendly (especially the breakfast hostess); both breakfast and dinner were excellent; the Koelsch Radler was superb; all rooms and public areas are non smoking. We just happened upon the Hotel Traube in Lof. The room was clean and good size with private bath. We had a river front balcony with an excellent view of the river. You could also see Burg Thurant across the river. They did not have internet access in the room however they had a computer in the lobby that was... More
