The riad itself is nicely located and looks beautiful. Also the food was nice but way overpriced. Also in other aspects we didn't like the staff who seemed to tolerate us more than that they welcomed us. For instance, after having parked the car at a place they insisted that we moved it to a place where we had to... More

This riad is dark and rather gloomy. The food was great but beware of anything fresh washed in local water, like the fruit or salad. U will most likely get really sick! Stay somewhere else more cheerful. Oh, I agree with the others that it is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy overpriced. More

The two biggest perks of this riad are the staff and the food. The staff couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and welcoming. We stayed for one night and had both dinner and breakfast at the riad. The dinner was enormous and very good and the breakfast was the best we had in Morocco. The rooms are comfortable and clean... A truly genuine Riad run by the Moroccan owners, well hidden near to the centre of Taroudant, just do not let the maze of back streets which have to be used to approach this fantastic Riad put you off. The warm welcome and calm once through the entrance are immediatly apparant. The inner courtyard is surrounded by the rooms which... More

We just visited for dinner, demonstrating that it isn't just 'bed and breakfast, by the way. It is the most beautiful place. We had a look at the rooms, which were very nicely appointed. The meal was outstandingly good Moroccan home cooking. More

This lovely hide away inside the walls is fantastic. Our children, 3 and 6 yrs old loved the garden. The breakfast was fantastic. As far as one could come from "Continental breakfast". Beautiful tiles and colours. More

The advantages of this riad are (i) the food is outstanding - it is home cooked and really is very good, best couscous I have ever tasted... (ii) it is family run and as a result has a nice relaxed atmosphere. The staff / family are very nice (iii) it is inside the walls of taroudannt and very close to... More

Good location, lovely garden, great breakfast and friendly owners but the rooms are poor (especially the bathrooms) and prices far too high. This was the most overpriced riad we stayed at in near 3 weeks travelling around Morocco and needs some competition fast. More

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by Habib and family. The most wonderful Riad, lovely room and spotless bathroom, brilliant dinner and breakfast, Habib was helpful and fun. And we loved Tommy - Le Roi de La Riad. We'd definitely go again and recommend others. More

I should start by saying that I completely messed up the booking and so we weren't booked in. However, from the moment Habib worked out where I went wrong he couldn't have been more helpful. He found us accomodation at a small orange farm on the outskirts of town where he came and settled us (2 couples) in and ensured... More
