A good four star hotel. As such not fundamentally bad but in our experience lacked the service consistentency and polish that the brand aspires to. Maybe our expectations were too high from previous six senses stay at phuket?

The views are great, the food is good and the restaurants are beautiful... Unfortunately, the comfort level is not in line with the price you pay. An airco which makes a lot of noise, etc etc The people who work at the hotel are nice but are not trained as it should be in such a hotel. Some people hardly... More

After 4 days in Banyan tree we went in this hotel. Built in raw material in respect of the nature you could have the feeling to arrive in a property where they have ti refurbished some of the space. But the reality is completely different ! As soon you arrive in your villa with pool in front of the ocean... More

I have just spent four wonderful nights at the Six Senses Samui over the May Holiday It was just what I needed, a perfect place to relax and re-charge the batteries. I chose a Pool Villa which fore filled all it was required to do and some ……. Very comfortable mosquito net enclosed bed and everything else in obvious easy... More

We arrived at Six Senses after two weeks of honeymooning around Thailand (this was not a backpack-type of trip -- we didn't rough it at all) and we finished it here for what we expected to be the "honeymoon" portion of the honeymoon (beaches and fruity drinks). And, to be fair to the hotel, it is. There's a gigantic infinity... More

Having spent the last two weeks travelling around Thailand, including Bangkok and Chiang Mai, we knew we wanted the last destination of our trip to be something very special. Six Senses certainly seemed like the place when we booked it and it did a very good job of finishing off our fantastic holiday. You get your own villa, and depending... More

Stayed at this resort last month. Nice property with good amenities. I stayed in Ocean view Pool Villa. Butler service is good. The only and major annoying factor was mosquitoes and pests. Lots of insects and mosquitoes in the evening, so you can not enjoy the private pool or ocean view in the late evening, the time you actually want... More

Spent a couple of nights at the Six Senses. The hotel is a true experience - the position is excellent looking out over the Gulf of Thailand and the giant infinity pool has an astonishingly beautiful view. The rooms are in the hillside and you have a big panoramic view as it's all glass (with blinds at night of course)... More

The Six Senses property is located on a rock far away from anything. If you want complete solitude and just laze around the hotel this could be good. However, the villas are worn down and the butler service is nothing more than a greeting (unless you ask for something specific). We stayed at a Villa with a private pool and... More

Dear FredrikWidell, Thank you kindly for your comments on a recent stay at Six Senses, and these I have shared with my team in detail. Six Senses is indeed located on a peninsula, in very natural surroundings, the villas are made of wood and bamboo, "not run down" for the information of our readers, but an inteligent rustical design constructed... We stayed at six senses for 2 weeks. Good points: 1. The villa was clean and was visited twice daily by the staff, clean towels were provided twice daily. 2. Mosquito net in room - definitely to be used 3. Nice sunken bath. 4. Infinity pool was large and clean. 5. Butler service is good and they come to find... More
