Have just returned from a short break at the Cala Blanca. I was very impressed with the appartment (we had a one bedroom appt. on the 4th floor). The beds are so comfortable and the pillows are the best I have ever come across in any hotel or appartment I have ever stayed in. The kitchen was fully equipped with... More

I stayed at this hotel for 1 week with my wife and 2 kids aged 8 &10 on a self-catering basis. We had a one bed roomed apartment on the 3 rd level. I found the apartment clean and spacious with a large balcony to the front that captured the sun from late afternoon - sunset. All staff encountered were... More

Just returned from our annual 2 weeks in sunny Cala Blanca, having been holidaying there for many years (we have travelled to many lovely places in the world) but this has to be one of our very favourites for a relaxing, carefree holiday. The staff make our holiday really special and do their very best to make our stay comfortable.... More

The hotel is really quite good in it self. The rooms were cleaned every other day. Had no issues with the staff, but as the other reports say. The rooms on the ground floor are right by the road. I had room 201 which was eighty four steps to the hotel entrance. Yes they did have a lift, but it... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for your kind comments on the resort. The apartments lower down tend to be noisier than those located higher up, and although this has been an issue we are very excited with the opening of the new motorway to the North that will finally devoid the area of traffic noise. Once that motorway is open, what... More

Just enjoyed a fabulous week on Gran Canaria. We booked this hotel on the strenght of previously staying at a Diamond Resort on Tenerife. We were not disappointed by this little gem of a hotel. From the moment you arrived the staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Decor is a bit dated in... More

Important about this hotel: It is practically built on a road, and all the flats available to those not staying for 3 months are the closest to the road! The flats higher up are not available - on tripadvisor pages they say that you must get a flat higher up - but you will not as long as they have... More

Having read reviews before we travelled, we were not sure what to expect. We were, however, pleasantly surprised. The apartment was spotless and well furnished. This was on the lower floor (2nd), so had not been refurbished, but all was working ok. There is traffic noise but it wasnt as bad as people are making out. It would only be... More

I cannot understand some of the previous reviews on the Cala Blanca. This place was a nightmare when we stayed there from 14th Jan to 25th Feb 2012. The road leading to the complex is in total darkness thanks to no street lights due to a local dispute with the surrounding hotels as to who pays the electric bill. The... More

We stayed at Cala Blanca for 5 night and it was very relaxing. Apartments are sufficient standard and very clean. We stayed at the very bottom and I was worried about the noise but it was fine. Didn't have trouble sleeping and even during breakfast traffic didn't bother us (it isn't as bad as other reviews said). Pool area is... More
