We stayed two nights in this Hotel which is very centrally situated. A short up-hill walk will take you to the Monastery – a must-see attraction in Melk.
There are many restaurants, shops and bars to hand.
We had a nice clean room with a balcony but no air conditioning. The room was quiet but being in June it was very hot. We slept with the window open without being disturbed by noise.
The room was let down by the Bathroom. There was a shower over the bath but there was no shower curtain or screen which made it difficult to avoid causing a flood.
The toilet seat was not properly fixed which also called for some care!
The Buffet breakfast was very good.
