My husband and I stayed at the "Castle" in May of 2009. We were the only guests at the time. We were shown around the "castle" area by Kathleen and Jack's son and he provided us with many historical facts about the area and the past owners of the castle. We had a wonderful talk w/ Jack about his father... More

We stayed one night as family of four - 2 children and 2 adults. Room was clean but a little small for the four of us. Beds were comfortable and location was quiet. No lift - we stayed on 3rd floor. No problem with parking. Breakfast was lovely. Accommodation is on a farm so there are farm smells. Probably not... More

Stayed at Killiane at the end of August. Arrived to a very warm welcome from Kathleen who offered tea and homemade biscuits. The farmhouse is spotless and our room was very comfortable. Such a peaceful location overlooking beautiful countryside. The whole experience was so relaxing. Walks around the farmland were an added bonus. Jack was fun and also made us... More

We enjoyed the warm hospitality of Killian Castle for 2 nights at the end of July 2011. We had en excellent stay in this idyllic country setting, under the weeping willow, with the horses and cows close by. Our room on the 3rd floor was very well appointed, clean and confortable. Breakfasts were excellent and really provided a good start... More

The title is not really correct as you do not stay in a Castle but a lovely old farm house. The castle has very little to do with your stay. However the old farm house is lovely and Kathleen's breakfast was the best we had in Ireland. My only negative comment would be that this also was the only place... More

My mother and I stayed at Killiane castle for two nights at the end of July 2011. Overall, the stay was very comfortable. We stayed in a room in the farmhouse accommodations. The room was on the 3rd floor, where I think most, if not all, of the farmhouse rooms are located. The room was clean and the beds were... More

My wife and I stayed here in May this year. I can only repeat what appears to be the majority opinion of visitors, this is an excellent B&B providing superb accommodation and magnificent breakfasts. One could not wish for a more charming hostess. More

Beautiful setting. My sister and I needed to leave early and wanted breakfast before we left. The only way we could get breakfast earlier than 08:30 was if we were going on the ferry. Kathleen took $10.00 euros off our bill, It would have been nice to have breakfast before we left though. More

A delightful B&B that embodies all the wonderful traits of Irish hospitality. A delightful family owned and run business that provided history, relaxation and the most amazing breakfasts. More

We arrived late afternoon and were greeted by our hosts and given a tour of our rooms to choose from (there were 8 of us travelling together). The sitting area with a fire place was a wonderful room to relax in with the fireplace. Our hosts were a wonderful family, that made me want to stay longer than my one... More
