We were apprehensive that this might be dark and damp. How wrong we were. The rooms were huge and well laid out with modern bathrooms and all facilities. All the staff were friendly and helpful doing everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast had an amazing buffet choice of everything you might desire and more. There was a... More

We recently stayed at the Gamirasu during our 4 day stay in the Cappadocia area. The hotel, rooms and surrounding area are all so beautiful. The staff is very attentive and the food was wonderful. It was a great place to unwind after a day of touring. While it is out in the middle of nowhere (or so it seems)... More

I stayed here for 5 nights in May and LOVED It. The staff, the food, my room, and overall ambiance were spectacular. The staff was always available to answer questions, chat, provide suggestions. The breakfasts were excellent, varied and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The well-being and comfort of their guests is a top priority and was apparent... More

I didn't know what to expect staying in a "cave" hotel, but from the moment we arrived for our three night stay, the Gamirasu charmed us. The renovation of a former cave monastery is beautifully done in decor and design. The general manager, Hamide, remembers names from the moment you meet her and is totally committed to excellent service. The... More

This cave hotel is so beautiful. A nice change from standard hotels. The rooms are so unique and spacious. Five star service and very friendly. Breakfast buffet has plenty to choose from and very fresh. Our flight home wasn't leaving until late evening so the hotel offered a room to us after our tour to shower and rest. I would... More

Great staff, excellent food ( especially the breakfast) and very interesting cave rooms. Location is perfect after a day of touring. You need your own transportation to get around but well worth the effort. The freshness if the food was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel it was by far the best hotel we used in Turkey. We were in a cave room which was an unique experience. The room was very spacious, the bed was really comfortable and it was exceptionally clean. We ate twice at the restaurant and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The... More

A beautiful conversion of a former monastery into a luxury hotel with all the comforts but none of the uniformity of modern international hotels. Off the beaten track so you need some form of transport, though the hotel provides on-demand transport into Ürgüp (about 20 minutes away). Service was exceptional, with nothing too much trouble. Rooms vary considerably in size... More

Unique hotel in as all village. A beautifully converted old monastery. Wonderful room, decor and service. The breakfast was sumptuous and eating it on the terrace was very special. All the extras expected in a five star hotel. Even included a spa shower and jacuzzi in the room. There's a great pool but no fitness centre. Some rooms have steps... More
