Tihe KMVN Tourist rest house is located 10 kms into the jungle around 30 kms from Almora.The last 2 Kms road was in not good condition otherwise road was good though narrow.The best thing about the place is its location.The taritff paid by me was Rs 2000/- for a deluxe room per day for two adults with breakfast and dinner.... We spent a couple of days in winter, we got THE best sunrise and sunset views. You cant think of getting such views anywhere in kumaon that too just outside your room. Food was pretty good, a little spicy though. I cant think of staying anywhere else other than this place when in binsar(though the villages are nice). More
