The hotel is very nice, beautifully decorated, with great rooms. The staff was otherwise quite friendly, but then they tried to charge 5 times normal price for a bottle of water. Dissapointing.
Would not visit again.

It sure is hit-or-miss when it comes to rooms at Grand Haveli! The hotel itself is stunning, but our room was very dark, with not so many details and decorations. We did have a big bathroom, and it was a nice stay, but others in our group had beautifully decorated rooms.
Food was good, be it a bit expensive.

This is a beautiful hotel and the food is good. Waiting staff are also nice. But beware - no hot water (not such a big problem); and, more serious, if you book travel through them it will be an overpriced disaster. We spent 8 hours (!) on the road being taken to a place which is actually 3 - 4...
