Stayed for a night at "Shiv Malhar, Amboli" on my way to Goa, all other hotels were full in Amboli.
The staff is very helpful and was awake and was waiting for me till I checked in very late at around 12 midnight.
Rooms were clean and surprisingly without any insects and lizards which is expected at hotels and lodges in the jungles. There was a fused bulb in the room which was replaced in minutes. Hot water was available in the toilet as promised. What else do you need for a night halt?
The breakfast was not that good and worth mentioning.
Overall a satisfactory stay.
Would recommend for a night stay if you are en-route to Goa and have no other options, not bad at all. More
