I really enjoyed the tranquillity of this place. First, the staff are very nice, helpful and accommodating. We had a lovely dinner one night in their patio and the breakfasts were fine. It looks like some new deluxe units are almost completed so things are improving. I stayed there for a few nights while exploring Wai and surrounding villages. After being in places like Kochin where I felt most people were sizing me up to see how many tourist dollars they could pry out of me, I liked the feeling of genuine hospitality in this out of the way place in the hills. The power went out a time or two and the hot water was not there every time I wanted to bathe but in general my room was clean and comfortable. More
