Kulgi nature camp is nicely located deep in the woods. We could not get the log huts but were able to get the tent accomodation on arrival at Kulgi! The location of the camp is unbeatable. The tents were new and well maintained. We paid Rs.1,000 per night. The Tourism Department organizes jungle safaris twice a day (poor sightings -... More

We were a group of 10 people who visited Dandeli which was a purely birding trip. During our visit we stayed at the Kulgi Nature Camp which is owned by the forest department and is located in Kulgi village and is about 12 kms away from the main Dandeli town. The booking has to be done through the forest office... More

Went with a gang of 10 friends to this place in dec.. We had booked the Tented accomodation and it was a bad experience.. The tents were very old, dirty and had a bad odour. The tents are undergoing renovation, hence only a few are good. But they have a log house next to it, which has completely renovated and... More

Stayed in wodden house with my family. The wooden houses are very nicely made with a balcony. You are right in midst of dense forest. Even better as there is no mobile network coverage. Only resort landlines are available. The resort has its own museum, they have a great place for the kids to play in, the staff is extremly... More
