We stayed at Low Urperth for 2 nights in September 2011. The B&B was great with a lovely room overlooking the farm and we will always remember the great breakfasts where we met others staying and shared our experiences Thanks for making us so comfortbale We would be happy to recommend this location to others Stephen and Dortohy Mann ,... We have been returning to this B&B 2 or 3 times a year for over 10 years. It is so cosy and welcoming. We love the personal touches that Hilary provides to make your stay incredibly comfortable. More

This was our 3rd visit. We just enjoy staying here. Peter & Hilary make us feel so welcome. The breakfasts are wonderful & we meet very interesting people as we sit around a large table, sampling local goods. We can see the Angel of the North from our room & the farm is central for sightseeing. The best B& B... More

It wasn't as rural as a thought it would be, it is quite exposed and not tucked away in a nice country town. The view out of our window was of a... More

Picked Low Urpeth as very close to Beamish Museum. Best choice we could have made. Lovely and convenient location, views across countryside with Angel of the North in distance. Temperature outside may have been minus nine at times but didn't stop accommodation being warm and comfortable. As was the welcome from Hilary and Peter. Breakfast was an experience not to... More

We selected Low Urpeth Farm because of its good reviews and proximity to The Beamish Museum. We were certainly not disappointed. Our room was lovely with good shower facilities. Hilary and Peter were wonderful hosts - very warm and welcoming. Their great local dining-out tips were very helpful and breakfast the next morning in the dining room was out of... More

Very friendly owners, comfortable, clean rooms, absolutely first class breakfast with home-made bread and local produce, free wi-fi connection. Location close to Beamish, Durham, Newcastle etc. yet quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended More

Great hotel, really friendly service and fantastic breakfasts! Being part of a working farm gives the place real character and the rooms have everything you need with very comfy beds. Would definitely go back. More
