I stayed at Banyan Grove during my trip to Jorhat. It was my first trip to this place and Banyan Grove made it a memorable one.
The room was superb and while entering I felt like I was entering in a Royal Suite.
It was properly lit with a sofa-set and a LCD in the room. It gave me an instant thought that it could be a perfect honeymoon destination, or at-least a couple's getaway from the world.
The dinner was good and was cooked by the staff itself. The dining room gave clear indication about the British architecture and the fire-place confirmed it.
As I reached the place around 8 PM in the night, was not able to see the surroundings properly due to the darkness of the night (it gets dark pretty soon out there).
But when I woke up for a walk, the sight astonished me. The surrounding was so beautiful and calm that if given a choice, I would stay there for ever.
