We had a great time all around in Ranthambore. The Aman-i-Khas is very welcoming and our personal batman, Satish, spoiled us from morning to evening. It was such a treat! Christina and Paul, the managers, did everything to make out stay very special. We loved the very elegant Safari tents which were spacious and comfortable. So was the rest of... More

Thanks to Aman-i-Khas for a great visit! We stayed for 3 nights on honeymoon, as part of a longer Aman India trip, and were there for New Year 2011. For context, we have previously stayed at Aman in Bhutan and Cambodia. There are some detailed reviews already, and I'd echo much of their positive sentiment. We thought the service was... More

We stayed for three nights which seemed like an optimum time giving a reasonable break from the horrible driving in India. We did a morning game drive and an afternoon one and were fortunate enough to have a fantastic sighting of a tiger on our first trip out. I’m not sure fellow guests were pleased for us....... some had been... More

After having had a very disappointing stay at Aman’s other tented camp, the bedraggled and poorly maintained Amanwana, I was apprehensive about Aman-i-Khas. Thankfully, Aman-i-khas was a better experience than Amanwan, but it had the opposite problem. Whereas Amanwana’s accommodations were unacceptably tired and worn, Aman-i-Khas’s tents are in superb condition, very stylishly designed by Gathy. By day, they are... More

We are very avid fans of the Aman group of properties and we were very excited by the prospect of visiting three more on our Aman India Journey which also included stays at Aman New Delhi and Amanbagh. Aman-i-Khas is set on the doorstep of Ranthambore National Park which is famous for it's relatively large population of tigers. The deciduous... More

Aman I Khas is a fantastic 10 tented camp with awesome food and service very near Ranthambore National Park. Each tent is quite large with a king bed or two beds, living area, dressing room, bath room with tub and shower. There is also a sit out that can be screened in like a porch. The property is on a... We arrived at Aman-i-Khas around 1500hrs after an erroneous detour to Village Women Crafts when we had actually wanted to go to the Dastkar Ranthambhore Project (www.dastkar.org/ranthamborep.htm) located near the incognito entrance of Aman-i-Khas. The latter's tented accommodations are uber-luxurious. Meeting Nitin and his wares at the Aman-i-Khas library only affirmed our belief that we had been paying tourist prices... More

I did the Aman India Experience, with 3 nights at each of their hotels (as well as two weeks in Rajasthan). Aman I Khas was by far the highlight of my entire trip. The setting is extraordinary. I arrived at sunset, and they had a big bonfire lit and Indian musicians playing. In typical Aman style, every detail was perfect.... More

After a long trip from the Amanbagh we finally arrive in the early afternoon in the hotel. Manager couple greeted us upon arrival. As my wife and her mom were sick they helped us to call doctor and translate as well. They were absolutely amazing. Our butler Satish was the best butler i ever had, friendly, helpful, understanding all the... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, hoping to see a tiger during one of our 2 safaris (we did!!), and just relaxing in the resort, which was so easy to do. From the minute we arrived, to a lovely personal welcome from the 2 GMs (Richard & Christina), the front office manager who had just so efficiently dealt with our... More
