I stayed in a deluxe room for a day. The hotel is about 7 km from the Cuttack railway station and 32 km from the Bhubaneswar airport. It is located on the Cuttack ring road that runs along the Katjuri River. The hotel faces the river. The first impression of the room was it was small, congested, and smelly. The window AC started making a noise when it was switched on. The bed sheets were not clean and had to be removed. The attached toilet was smelly and small. The bath tub, western commode and wash basin were black in colour and soiled. The geyser for hot water did not function. The TV in the room was a CRT with some local cable connection with poor transmission. There was no coffee-tea maker. I had to search for an electrical point for charging my laptop. Room service was very poor. The staff speaks broken Hindi and some English. Of course if one understands Oriya or Bengali there is no problem in communication.
