Alasia is no longer what it used to be. The rooms are terrible, the carpets are never vacumed, the bedsheets are smaller than the matresses, the bed linen is ot changed everyday , the bathroom has sub standard fittings. The service was absolutely terrible, the staff would shout in the kitchen from 5 am until midnight , never take room... More

Alasia was a beautiful hotel with great English food. Unfortunately the management has just not invested in the hotel. It was last refurbished over 10 years back. The rooms are damp, the carpets smell, and the water supply is erratic. The food still has unsual items like Shepherd's Pie, and other items, but the dining room is so run down.... More

I stayed here 10 years ago and it hasn't changed a bit. This was The best hotel in Kasauli in the olden days but now is rather worn & run down.
