The Jinde (Xinde) hotel was adequate and billed itself as a "businessman's" hotel. This could explain the unwanted calls that I received multiple times late at night from overly friend "ladies."
The location was fairly central and it was firmly enclosed within a Chinese area of Kashgar in a city that is otherwise predominantly Uigher Muslim.

I stayed there for 5 nights in April on a business trip. The hotel is quite new and well maintained. The rooms are very large, with the usual kettle, tea, slippers, tooth brush etc. The view from the rooms is towards the city and nearby mountains.
As in some other hotels in China, the mattress is very stiff.
