Rock Cottage is delightful. Ask for a room away from the busy road. The Cottage and the Inn shake each time a large truck goes past. wifi is available in the Inn, but not in the cottages. Stayed a night at the Dog Inn recently. Best night's sleep I've had forever. Comfortable, if basic, room- but all that I needed. Very friendly staff and big cooked breakfast around a large shared table the next morning. Very good value. Would definitely stay there again.

I didn't expect such a wonderful welcome - children are loved. The breakfast time was very relaxed with a very varied menu and nothing was too much trouble. I am not usually a bed and breakfast person but this experience has most definitely changed my view on the subject.

Our recent walking holidaystaying at many pubs. The Dog Inn was the best by far with the charming landlady treating us as friends rather than guests.Great food and atmosphere in the bar. Huge full breakfasts are served in the cottage. A family atmosphere and comfortable furnishings combine to ensure everyone is happy. I will be back!

We booked the Dog for a 'girls night in'. We had a lovely meal in the pub at a very reasonable price and then spent a really lovely evening in our gorgeous rooms - the rooms are huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was served in the Cottage which is stunning - I will definately be back!
