We stayed there since there were no other options. The rooms definetly were better than Mookambika Delux but facilities were bad. They had a lift but no generator. I visited Badami with my family in Dec'2009. We stayed in Hotel Rajsangam International (http://hotelrajsangam.com). Actually apart from the Badami Court (costly) and Hotel Mayura Chalukya, other options seem to be confined to near the bus stand.
