Been there for a weekend, got a very good price (200$/pers./night, txs/service included: The Best Of Nature package) for a lake side room with balcony and whirlpool bath, 4-course evening diner, buffet breakfast and one day access to the GEOS Les Bains facilities. The room was very clean, lot of space, quiet and all we needed. Exceptional service everywhere. Restaurant/bistro... More

Today I was looking into some old trips and bumped into our trip in 2002. In september 2002 we spend 2 nights at this Hotel and must confess we never forgot about it. We had a great suite, it was all pretty new at that time. We had a big storm the first night and that made the room even... More

I believe every hoteliers dream is to receive a feedback such as yours. We are very grateful to learn that even after 12 years your experience in our hotel is still memorable!! So many things have changed for better since then. Every executive suite has been renovated last year and the most important change we made is our new spa,... More

I've been to this Hotel 2 times. Over the past 2 years, employees has been in labor dispute so the hotel suffer from that. Last time i've been there (May 2011), the hotel shows visible sign of wear on the balcony (My friend's foot pass throught a plate on the 3rd floor balcony). Looks like the site maintenance is let... We spend 5 days for Xmas On the hotel itself : rooms are comfortable but there is no pleasant location inside the hotel to read , having a drink... On the Food side, the A La Carte Menu is OK but the buffets are mediocre , and the Xmas one was very disappointing The staff is nice and tries to... More

During our roundtrip in Canada we also wanted to see and experience some of the nature this country has to offer. We did not have enough time to go away from the bigger cities in the Eastern part so this hotel was a perfect choice. It is located just a few hours drive from Montreal, but when you arrive you... You cannot deny that this log cabin looks fantastic as does the location with it's tranquil lake and no neighbours anywhere to be seen. The spa (although closed when we were there) looks quite impressive. That's about the only pros to this place. Cons: WAY overpriced, I mean it's almost insulting. Rooms are very basic, beds are drab and need... More

We spent one night in the hotel on a short breakaway from the city during the colors season. The location is just amazing, and the view on the lake from the hotel terrace absolutely magnificent. The hotel itself fits nicely in the environment. It is comfortable, but this is more a Deluxe version of an AMC lodge, with ensuite bathroom, than... More

We spent one night in this hotel. The decor is rustic and simple, rooms are small but comfortable, good beds, clean bathroom, large balcony and absolutely stunning view, as we paid extra to have a lake view room. Imho: the rooms are a bit dated for such an expensive hotel (linoleum in the bathroom and wall to wall carpeting for... More

Gigantic log cabin with taxidermied animals (wolf, moose etc.) as decor. Overlooks the lake and is surrounded by the forest. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Views from the balcony breath taking. The only hitch is considering what you pay many activities are extra...horse back riding, motorboat, hiking with guide and so forth. The spa is worth the price also rather... More

We stumbled across this place on Google maps as we wanted a couple of nights stop over on the drive from Quebec City to Mont Tremblant. Thank goodness we did! It is a beautiful spot. The main selling point here is the pure peace and quiet, there are no televisions in the rooms, the rooms are not overly luxurious but... More
