We went as a family for somebodys 80th birthday. It was a Sunday so we had a carvery. The meal was very average, the "roast" potatoes were pale and underdone, the veg was a bit tasteless. We only stayed for one night but would like to stay longer next time. The room was clean and tidy with an excellent power shower. The food in the restaurant was fantastic accompanied by a good selection of local real ales. More
