Has to be the worst hotel room we have ever stayed in and we have travelled all over the world for many years! We visit Greece every year and booked this hotel through jet2 as we wanted to stay in the beautiful resort of Nidri. The hotel is located in a really great location but be very careful which room you are allocated. We booked through jet2 and were appalled at the room we were given for our holiday. It was Old fashioned, dirty, smelly, dark, needing updating, noisy and had no privacy. It was truly the worst view from a room ever we have ever had. We asked to be moved but we were told they wouldn’t as the hotel was full. Such a shame. Good luck if you get a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the pool but in our opinion we would never want to spend any time in the rooms on both sides and at the back of the hotel. Hasn’t put us off visiting Nidri again as it is one of the nicest resorts ever but….. the photos speak for themselves.…

Just spent a week at the Yannis and I have to say it was the best week ever far better than I could ever of imagined ! The place is spotless and the staff are the most friendliest people I have ever met. The owner has the driest sense of humour but made us feel so welcome and well looked after. If you’re looking for fabulous food and a complete chill this is the place to go I will definitely be going back next year !

Hardworking family run hotel. The owner has a wicked sense of humour. Went with a friend and he had us laughing nearly every day. Knows his drinks, made a perfect Spritzer and served up my evening Metaxa in a warm glass, what a star. Would gladly return.

Hotel is in a great position for exploring Nidri. Rooms are basic could do with some updating especially the bathroom with the horrible yellow staining down the shower screen. Staff and owners nice enough we kept ourselves to ourselves. Views are spectacular over the harbour but need to be in front block to see them on balcony. Beds crammed in around pool practically sitting on the person next to you. No sun on most of the beds possibly because it’s October. Not allowed to move the sunbeds to actually get some sun! Not allowed to use the wee harbour area across the road as they pay the council for it and only until end of August to actually not be shaded to get some sun! Breakfast is only continental this is not specified when booking - toast which you queue to make as 1 toaster and only one side of the bread actually toasts. Some fruit cocktail, Greek yogurt, Jam, chocolate spread, cheese and Ham. If you want eggs, bacon etc you pay €1.50 extra per item. Beds are hard and not very comfy. Wifi is good works in room and pool area to allow Netflix etc as no TV in rooms. But the most important negative for me and why I will not return to this hotel is not allowed to have your own drinks by pool! Been to loads of Self Catering and it’s never been issue!…

Our second visit to the Yannis and we had a lovely week. The hotel and pool area are very clean and well maintained. The room was comfortable and clean with sheets and towels regularly changed. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to bars, shops etc. Breakfast was simple but plentiful and additional cooked items were available for a reasonable price. Pool bar prices were good and the food was tasty. All the staff are helpful and friendly. Kyriakos has an excellent (very dry) sense of humour, always ready for a chat but not intrusive.

What a great wee Hotel and the staff are great and work so hard to make your stay a great one. We had room 26 on top floor with a fantastic sea view. Only issue was he smaller than what we are used to shower cubicle, but hey a quick car was never hurt anybody. Ignore the comments on the owner, he's a dry sense of humour and if you get on the wrong side it's you, not him, he was the perfect gent and very funny when we were there. The add on's at breakfast are plentiful and great quality and worth the extra. We'll be back!

Perfect location, quiet end of the strip but restaurants, bars couple of minutes walk away. View stunning of marina right in front of hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel and will return again. Very easy to book boat trips and port is next to marina. Ferry to island of megasangi takes 30 mins and is on doorstep.

Lovely family owned hotel. Very genial host with a wicked sense of humour. That's Kyriakis his lovely wife Voula and Monica who works so hard to make your holiday special. Rooms are spotless comfortable and equipped with kettle fridge hairdryer etc. Fresh towels most days too! Breakfast is good enough with the option of cooked food at a small cost. Prices of drinks at the bar are very reasonable as are bar snacks which are available throughout the day. The view from the hotel bar and breakfast area is stunning! There are enough sunbeds around the pool and the policy of not allowing reserving a bed with a towel etc is much appreciated! In my opinion this hotel is probably the best in Nydri and I would not hesitate to recommend it. We have enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to return! …

We first stayed here over 20 years ago , tried to stay here last year without any luck so was so excited that we were able to stay here in Aug. Has Nidri changed yes it has become more busy shops, bars, cars and people BUT it is still a wonderful place to visit/stay The Yannis is a lovely friendly hotel run by Kyriakos who is a fun guy who as previously stated by other people has rules but they are there for a reason ,we found him very easy to get along with, the whole of our two weeks was full of laughter and banter .Voula his wife always helpful and chatty and Monica happy to chat and who made me some lovely mock cocktails. Continental breakfast was good toast, ham, cheese, tomato, cereal, fresh melon, fruit juice and unlimited tea and coffee. Lovely to sit at the pool bar looking out at the marina as you have your breakfast. We had lunch at the pool bar a few times very tasty burgers, omelettes, chips , salads to name a few things all lovely. We had a room on the ground floor over looking the pool ,rooms were cleaned every day and towels and bedding every 2-3 days. The shower was a bit on the small size but it wasn't a major problem ,water tended to go all over the floor but that is where the mat comes into use. We had a problem with the air con but this was sorted almost immediately, in fact the whole of the hotel was very clean and tidy. Met some lovely people shout out to Susan and Barry such a shame we never met at the beginning of our stay. Kyriakos ,Voula and Monica look forward to coming back again soon David and Yvonne U x …

Just got back from another great 2 weeks at Yannis Hotel. Been many times before the last time being in 2021. We can’t compliment this place enough as my previous reviews of this place will show. All the staff work tirelessly to make your stay enjoyable, if your at the wrong end of Kiriakos’s tongue there will be a reason for it. But give the guy a chance, engage with some conversation with him and you will find he’s a genuine funny guy whose passionate about his hotel and the welfare of his guests. We’re back next year for 3 weeks (God help us) but we can’t wait. Kiriakos, Voula, Monika and the cleaning staff are doing a great job. See you next year.Ian, Debra, Phil, Mary and Margaret.👍
