After visiting Wardour castle we found this pub on our way home. We were pleasantly surprised. the food was excellent, the service friendly and professional. Very clean and cosy. We will definitely recommend this pub to our friends.

Have had some glorious meals in the past however the last two times we have visited they have been very poor! Steak over cooked, spinach gritty, deep fried Brie still frozen, old yellow watercress and roast lamb murdered under grill ! Think the owners should have more control over the chefs standards!! We stumbled across the Grove Arms while touring the area and so glad we did. The establishment is first class, professionally operated by Ben and Anne and delight to stay with. The Accom was terrific, meals fantastic and service went that little bit extra. Highly recommended.
