Quite OK place, but the sister place Abai Jungle Lodge is the real pearl (not on TripAdvisor it seems). This place is only reachable by boat through Kinabatangan. We saw a lot of monkeys, orangutans and birds, and at last the pygmy elephants we had been looking for.

Wonderful place to base exploration of the Sakau region. Rooms are pretty basic but very comfortable, clean. Food was great and the service was fantastic.

Cabins basic but very clean and comfortable. No Air-con but ceiling fan. Food was very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Setting is on river and in jungle.
