A great place to get away from it all in a beautiful location. Lovely cottage with everything you need (comfy bed, really hot water, excellent equipment) with friendly but non intrusive owners. Some really nice extra touches of fresh eggs, bread, milk and flowers upon arrival. Great base to explore the North York Moors straight from the doorstep with excellent walking. The pub... More

We found Rectory Farm very easily. Heather greeted us on arrival, showed us where to park and welcomed us into her home. Guests are (rightly) expected to swap shoes for slippers immediately on arrival so it’s a good idea to make sure you’ve got a pair to hand. We went into the lounge and Heather re-appeared with a tray of... More

We have just got home from a wonderful stay in cow slip cottage at Rectory farm, we booked it as a late booking for 3 nights and chose Rectory farm due to the great reviews on tripadvisor. We were not dissapointed from the outset, we were greeted in a warm friendly way by the owners, Cow slip cottage was clean,... More

We have just returned from a 3 night break at Rectory Farm b and b. We loved it! the quality of the room, facilities and food was outstanding. Michael and Heather went out of their way to ensure we were very well catered for - fab breakfasts and afternoon tea. We benefitted from the great facilities, such as the drying... More

I have just returned home today after a blissful 7 days. My family and I (hubby, Mum in law, 5 year old daughter, doggy and daughters pony) stayed in Primrose Cottage for a week from 30th March until 6th April. It was absolute heaven. We were greeted by a clean, well equipped cottage with yummy bread, scones, jam, milk, tea... More

We stayed here with two other couples in late March 2012. We ate in on the first evening and enjoyed a good supper with our own wine, followed by coffee in the comfortable sitting-room by a roaring fire. The next two evenings were spent in the nearby pub, just 50 yards away. Again very good meals. Hosts were hospitable, rooms... More

Returning from a wonderful scenic winters walk to a roaring fire in the homely guest lounge with afternoon tea and cake....heaven!! This is our second visit in four months to Rectory Farm which we find a relaxing haven with wonderfully accomodating hosts. The B&B accomodation is of a high standard in terms of cleanliness, comfort and facilities offered to guests... More

We made our second visit to Michael and Heathers farmhouse which is set in the very peaceful village of Levisham on the edge of the North York Moors. A three minute walk and you are on them, the excellent Horseshoes pub is even closer serving very well presented food and great Black Sheep beer ! We stayed in a two... More

Customer satisfaction is of no importance to the owners sadly. Several issues during our stay including cleanliness, lack of provisions and faults with heating and wi-fi, all of which were acknowledged and accepted by the owners. Engaged in meaningful dialogue with Michael for several weeks following our stay and was pleased to see he'd rectifed the problems for the benefit... More

We did not have the opportunity to resolve your issues at the time. We do offer FREE WiFi, and we have had it check by a professional technician who was satisfied with our equipment. I had offered you complimentary short break, We are disappointed you were unable to enjoy your stay. More
