the hotel was very nice. room was tatami style, very cozy. unfortunately we booked a 2nd floor room, and the view was not so good because of the big tour buses in parking lot.

good service provided by hotel once we stepped out of our car.Lobby with nice decoration , high ceiling, , full view of the sea & refreshing welcome drink. Free coffee in the morning & can watch sunrise in the lobby. One glass of champagne is free in the evening. Fresh vegetables, tomatoes & cucumber is provided in the hotspring area...

Firstly I will mention that I have been going to Japanese Ryokan for 30 years and have visited more than 100 so I have a bit of experience. Bosui is my current favorite hot spring ryokan to go to , to relax. I have been going there since it opened and have visited 8 times. I have never been disappointed....

Second stay here. The first was in 2005. Bousui is a wonderful seaside ryokan along the coast of the Izu peninsula easily reached by express train from Tokyo. Besides the large common baths on the 1st level guests can also reserve a "private gazebo". This is actually just a large room with a private bath you can have to yourself...
