This is one of the most far-out hotels we've stayed in. It dates from the 1700s, when it was a coaching station. It describes itself as "Rich in tradition for the discerning and adventurous". We stayed here whilst touring in Norway. The hotel is enchanting and we were looked after very well. The dinner was one of the best we ate and the owner was most helful in choosing the wine. Ok, so its a little ironic that one would have to pay 1700 NOK to live the traditional Norwgeian "poor man's" life.
