No other advice really. Great little town, great hotel, great owners, great rooms, great everything. There literally is no other reason to look at other hotels in Xativa. Ask for advice and you will get everything you need.

I have stayed several times at Casa Aldomar and can recommend it, My room was large and comfortably furnished with new furniture carefully chosen to be in keeping with this modernised 17th century town house, My room and ensuite shower room was very clean and well kept, Our breakfast was served with freshly squeezed orange juice in the sunny breakfast...

Having booked this hotel on the basis of the excellent reports on TripAdvisor, it was great to find the hotel more than lived up to the reviews. Xativa is a delightful old town, and Casa Aldomar is situated near the heart of the town, but on a quiet street. The rooms are simple but pleasant, and Ian was a great...

The above applied to the town (easily accessible by train from Valencia) as well as the small hotel (which was simple and well designed/decorated) which we visited in late September 2011. We were immediately made to feel at home by Ian and Jose, who supplied us with a wealth of information, advice and encouragement to tackle some of the walks,...

A stylish mix of contemporary and historical make this a great B&B option.
Fresh, clean, bright and relaxing. Two terraces to enjoy. Take in the view of the castle from the top terrace, absolutely wonderful particularly in the evening.
Bedrooms comfortable, lots of nice little touches throughout. Ian is a great host with lots of local knowledge to share making...

We stayed at the Casa Aldomar in August 2011. We loved it. The place is simple, decorated with taste. It is clean and quiet. The owners are kind and friendly. They are very helpful. We found some amazing restaurant in the vicinity (some of the best we tried in Spain). Our only regret is not staying longer to really appreciate...

Xativa is an excellent place for a quick getaway. There is a wonderful hilltop castle that can be reached by beautiful and well-marked walking trails. Also a historic town that is worth seeing. All this without t-shirts, souvenir stands, etc. Casa Aldomar is not fancy but provides very suitable accommodation and breakfast. The roof terrace provides probably the best view...

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Casa Aldomar in Xativa. The town of Xativa is the birthplace of some of the Borja popes and has a beautiful castle and lots of mansions. It also has a good train service to nearby Valencia city.
The Casa Aldomar makes a great place to stay. It is simply but tastefully furnished...

My partner and I received a few tips from fussy well-travelled friends that there was an extraordinary B&B in a lovely part of Spain (Xativa) not far from the city of Valencia. We booked for three nights and had every intention of spending most of our time in Valencia and surrounding areas along the Mediterranean. After meeting the charming, hip,...
