Booked a one night stay for a romantic getaway and just wished we could have stayed longer! Jenny made us feel extremely welcome and the glass of sherry and choccy to further extend the welcome were a real treat. Stayed in room 3 and it had everything we needed and more, Stuart and Jenny had thought of everything that a... more

Jenny & Stuart made us feel extremely welcome on our arrival, nothing was too much trouble for them and our little Jack Russell Georgie Girl. Our Room (No. 1) and facilities were home from home and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were the best we have had and just couldn`t be faulted. We would definately recommend this b & b to... more

Jenny & Stuart made us feel so welcome from the very first initial contact when booking. Our room had everything @ our fingertips and even dog chews for our boys..... This B&B is in a lovely quiet village but only a short drive away from everything the Lakes has to offer. The breakfasts were lovely and kept us full for... more

Can 't say enough good things about this place - especially if you have a dog. Really nice people, excellent food and they love and welcome dogs. Our greyhound loved it there. You won't be disappointed, honestly. more

Top notch B&B. Welcoming and friendly hosts. Excellent quality bedroom decor. Great bed. Could have done with a simpler entertainment system. 3 remotes defeated me! Breakfast was excellent. Only downside is the proximity of the busy A590 road. However, that would not put us off staying again. Throughly recommended. George McA more

This had everything you would want in an overnight stay. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The host was very hospitable and just the best breakfast you could want. Would definately recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in a guest house with all the home comforts. more

This was our second stay at Jenny and Stuarts wonderful Lakeland retreat....and what improvements they have made, and talking to them, things will only get better. My wife and I have B&B'd all over the country and this is the first place that actually does something for the dog they charge for, and the charge is only a pittance anyway!... more

We stayed here for a birthday weekend away. We received a warm welcome from Jenny, who showed us our room (room 1 with private balcony - lovely!) and ran through the "formalities". The room was spotless and spacious, and more than adequate for us and two dogs! Water bowl, dog beds and chews were provided, so the pets are treated... more
