I stayed here from 5th - 7th of April 2013 to attend my cousin's wedding. Claire and her family could not have been nicer. The accomodation was spotless and the cooking catered well for my taste. I don't eat pork so had porridge, beans on toast and scrambled eggs etc. The location was beautiful and great base for seeing more... More

A lovely guesthouse with views of rolling hills. The only downside is that the walls between rooms are quite thin so if you have noisy neighbours (who talk loudly and channel surf late into the evening as we did) it can be a little difficult to fall asleep in the evening. Other than that, highly recommended!

We stayed at Glenwood for one night after attending a wedding in nearby Arisaig. Claire was very helpful with directions, and although she was out when we arrived her teenage son was friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the family room as we have a 4 yr old and a 5 month... More

We were fortunate enough to stay at Glenwood House during a heatwave over Scotland with temperature in the high 20s. This only added to the enjoyment of a very pleasant stay at Glenwood. Located a few minutes drive south of Mallaig. The famous Camusdarach Beach is only a few minutes walk from the house – where we had three spectacular... More

Turned up on spec at this recently & immaculately renovated property, greeted with a smile and offered a good size double room. £60 ensuite for 2 with good breakfast so excellent value. Owner Claire friendly & very helpful, offerring to make dinner reservations and kindly returning our keys that we inadvertantly left behind without charge. Good location, within walking distance... We stayed overnight at Glenwood on 10th and 11th June and there is not much more I can add to the reviews already placed here other than to say I wholeheartedly agree with each of them. The house and room were both immaculate and the facilities were excellent. We were made very welcome by Claire. The location is excellent for... More

Very friendly b and b in a beautiful corner of Scotland. Claire was very accommodating with my constantly changing plans! The house is lovely, and the room was large with a good bed and great shower. Thanks for a good stay, sorry I couldn't stay longer.

We had the family room for a weekend and the owners Claire and Simon couldn't have been nicer. The house was absolutely beautiful, great showers and very comfortable beds, breakfast is also highly recommeded. The setting is absolutely stunning with a 5 minute walk to one of the nicest beaches in Scotland (Camusdarrach Beach). All in all one of the... More
