This is a terrible hotel. We booked a Premium room at a cost of £139, it wasn't worth the £39. As like Rockyx I too tried to take advantage of the Spa offer. I too was bounced around from person to person to voicemail. Incredibly frustrating. I've stayed in many hotels. This must have been the worst! Even though it advertises having NO lifts - you don't expect to have to go down 4 flights of stairs from our bedroom to the restrurant. Justed returned from a stay at this hotel, everything was fine, the staff in the restaurant very polite and helpful. Room was very comfortable and clean. Did not use the restaurant for our evening meal as there was a pub within walking distance for our evening meal and was offering two meals for the price for one. All in all... more

I'm a Leisure Breaks member of Barcelo Hotels and I usually stay in one of their hotels in Hampshire so I was bound to make comparisons between the two. What a disappointment when I arrived. The website and brochure mention 6 acres of landscaped gardens. I took a couple of books with me, looking forward to sitting in these gardens.... more
