We booked this hotel through Expedia for a one night stay last week. We were contacted by the hotel at approx 7.30pm to advise that they did not have room for us and the booking should not have been taken. The hotel blamed Expedia and Expedia blamed the hotel. “Great hotel food not great”

Having stayed in your hotel found it to be comfortable and clean. The only let down was the food in the restaurant as it was very basic and mainly chips on the menu. Food is reasonably priced for what it is, so not all bad.

I am happy that you found the housekeeping standards at the hotel to a high standard. We have very recently employed a new Head Chef who has made considerable changes by doing carvery options through too A La Carte. We do hope you return to us soon to see the changes he has put in place. More

Unfortunately we are in the process of changing our suppliers for the bar and this resulted in us not having enough draught beer for that partucular evening. When you return in the future this situation will have been resolved. More
