We stayed in this lovely old (180 years old!) guest house while visiting family. A warm welcome, lovely well furnished rooms (could have done with a chair at the dressing table/desk) nice modern shower with plenty of hot water. I have stayed twice at this Bed and Breakfast and enjoyed both stays. A warm welcome, a comfortable room and, though in walking distance from Newcastle airport (I saw an airline crew member walking there from Stone Cottage), well insulated so hardly any noise. The rooms are not very large so there's no room for a desk to work from.... More
