A great relaxing place to stay. Made to feel welcome and had a wonderful mid week break. Food was excellent with good choices for both breakfast and dinner. Would recommend staying here for anyone wanting a quiet country location. Our double room was very comfortable with good en-suite facilities. More

We loved Burpham Country House. As an escape for our anniversary away from the kids, it could not have been better. A charming independent B&B, it nonetheless was modern and very well-decorated and set in a wonderful location. We walked along the river into Arundel and therefore didn't even need to use the car. Owners Jackie and Steve strike the... More

We stayed at the hotel for seven nights. We were warmly welcomed, and throughout our stay the owners and other staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel's situation is quiet and peaceful, in a tiny village a few miles from the main coast road, and there is much wildlife to be seen. Arundel is nearby and the whole area is... More

Great place to stay! Attentive staff (no chain anonymity here) without being in your face. Great food - we had dinner and breakfast and both to be recommended. Off the beaten track but in a lovely position only a few minutes from Arundel. More

From the minute we arrived to the time we left, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself was beautiful and tranquil, and if you are looking to de-stress this is it! stunning views and excellent quisine. The owners were friendly and charming. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night! next time we will stay longer. More

We only stayed here for one night, but we absolutely loved it. Great room with a four poster bed, lovely views and situated in great surroundings. Pancakes for breakfast were very nice! More

We enjoyed our one night stay in this immaculately clean small hotel. The owners were friendly and helpful, advising on local attractions and walks etc. The room included complimentary biscuits, chocolate and bottled water. We were also given a voucher for reduced rate entry to Arundel Castle (well worth vewing). We were a little disappointed not to be told in advance... More

This was our second visit to this lovely Country House and it was everybit as enjoyable as the first.. The weather was slightly better this time so we were able to take afternoon tea in the garden which in itself was a treat. Jackie and Steve were just as helpful and charming as we found them to be before and... More

We have just returned from a two night stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. The tiny hamlet of Burpham is a real find, with just a church and a very good pub and is set in the beautiful rolling south downs. Because the weather was so good, we saw it at it's very best too. Burpham Country House is an... More

Fancied a night away and booked the morning that we went, room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated . We were too late to reserve a table for dinner at the house so walked to the pub round the corner, had amazing tasty food, a little pricey but well worth it. Bed was comfy and the breakfast ingredients locally sourced... More
