This was our fourth trip to the Brown Trout and although the weather was horrendous (snow) we were determined to get there as we knew we would have a relaxing time once we got there. We stayed in one of the cottage rooms which was very comfortable and we paid a supplement to have the lounge area of the cottage... more

Facilities inside were excellent, everything working. Lots of room for kids to play lots of seats we had an excellent break We ate in... more

I stayed here over Easter for three days 10th - 13th April with my wife. I had tried to stay here over a number of week-ends a few years ago but it was always full. This was a last minute booking and we got the last room. The rate was superb £129 per person for 3 nights B&B and 2... more

I spent a weekend break here with 4 other friends and it was absolutely brilliant. We arrived on Friday afternoon about 3pm and spent the rest of the afternoon settling into our rooms and sitting by the roaring fire in the snug beside reception drinking hot chocolate and coffee. We had an absolutely gorgeous meal in the hotel on Friday... more

We had a fantastic start to our holiday in Ireland thanks to this hotel and its staff. The rooms were very clean (even the valances on the beds were changed during the 4 nights we were there!), every member of the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Each room had a walk in shower, full size bath, 2 double beds,... more

Nice relaxing hotel to spend a few days, The rooms are large, bright, clean and warm. The huge portions of home cooked food are served in a nice bar that has real fires for those chilly nights. Good to sit by the fire with a large Bushmills watching the rain. Breakfast is really good to, nice to get Potato cakes... more
