Thank you to Lorraine, Richard, Kate and all the wonderful staff that made my sisters snowy wedding day fantastic, it will be a day that no one will ever forget. Thanks for going above and beyond what was asked. From shovelling snow, not only so all the guest could make it up the drive but also so the bride could... More

We have just celebrated my daughter Lisa's marriage to Kyle which took place at Highfield Hall. From the moment we arrived on the morning of the wedding, we were made to feel as though we were being looked after by old friends, nothing was too much trouble for the new owners Richard and Lorraine, and of course the unstoppable Kate. Our... More

The hotel had been sold for a week so was filled with trepidation. We were having small wedding and wanted intimate atmosphere. They delivered. Excellent. The best day of my life-thank you. Set up for the rooms, beautiful and romantic. Flower arrangements, lighting, ambience wonderful. Food, both canapies and meal a very high standard. Big thank you to all at the hotel,... More

I attended a wedding being held here and stayed at this hotel last weekend - (Oct 13th) A warm greeting on arrival and a most helpful lady who insisted on carrying my baggage upstairs to Room 5 on the 1st floor. We had a large spacious room with double aspect windows and an equally large bathroom complete with corner bath,... More

We cannot sing the praises of Molly & Kate enough. My husband and I had a wonderful wedding where everything we asked for was catered for and with a smile. The hotel itself is full of charm and everyone at the wedding complimented our venue. Thank you so much for helping to make the best day of our lives.

Our son's wedding was celebrated at this hotel, and having read some of the earlier reviews I was a little anxious. However, the welcome we received on the Friday evening, the meal we had then and the attention that we received allayed those fears instantly. The wedding day was magnificently marshalled by the staff, and the feast was one of... More

We were here last Sat night for an event (local hockey club 50th Anniversary dinner). I love this building and it really could be something else but it's stuck in a time warp. The entrance is impressive, plenty of parking, beautiful gardens, perfect for weddings but there the compliments cease. The interior is clean but dated. We were ushered into... More

I had my wedding here last july but have been back a few times since. The rooms (bathroom suites) may need a little updating, but you can't fault the cleanliness, the brilliant staff, location and above all the beautiful venue. The prices may seem a little high but the rooms were actually a similar price that some of my guests... More

Beautiful grounds and surroundings, 200 year old Hotel. Our room had been booked by a family friend as part of our visit, I would not have booked this. On entering our "premium" room we saw that the fire escape notice on A4 paper on the back of the door was curled up and unreadable (should have been laminated). Our large... More

Stayed here for 1 night on business. First impressions as I arrived were great, the approach is very grand and the immediate grounds around the house are very well kept (although the sign for the rear car park looks like it was made by a 5 year old). The entrance hall/downstairs decor is grand but a bit tired (although very... More
